Fantastic family run hotel. Friendly and accommodating staff. Sociable bar & lounge area to relax in. On the seafront but a quiet position and ample guest parking. The food is amazing and a choice of restaurant areas to sit in. Has a lift available so don’t worry if you’re on the top floor. Great venue for events. Rooms are lovely and well decorated in different themes. A really nice place to stay in.
Just back from an overnight stay here, I cannot recommend this hotel enough, the staff are so lovely and friendly, we had a delicious meal in their restaurant. The AA rates this hotel as 4 star - personally I think it deserves more! Will definitely return.
We discovered this hotel a couple of years ago. I wanted somewhere for a couple of nights away fairly close to home. So glad I plumped for the Imperial. There is nothing I can fault, but the highlight is the staff. Absolutely great, and must be good working there because we always see the same faces. The food is excellent too. To be found the quieter other end of Great Yarmouth, from the funfair etc. Worth getting a sea view room.
I took 30 guests to the Imperial hotel for my birthday burns night dinner . Everything was wonderful , all my guests thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend . The staff & service was excellent , as was the food . Grant Smith was a great head of staff & made an our stay very memorable , Thankyou all , so recommend your stay here .
We stayed at the Imperial Hotel in June 2023. Our room on the top floor was really dirty and we were given another which was ok. We paid top price and were very disappointed. The whole hotel smelled as if it needed a deep clean. The saving grace was the breakfast. Grant at that time needed to get his sleeves rolled up instead of sitting behind reception. It put us off returning to Yarmouth as it was a long journey and we were afraid of another disaster.
