Fantastic local, now offering hearty Sunday roasts. Probably the best Guinness in London, this is a welcoming pub with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Come here to watch the football or just for a quiet pint. It feels like a vestige of the old East End in the best possible way.Food: 5/5
during my holiday in London, I ate excellent food in this pub, I had fish and chips, really very good, generous portion accompanied with fantastic secret sauces made by the chefs Santolo and Concetta. satisfied with the dish, I went back in the following days and had a really excellent meat accompanied with green beans, potatoes and Yorkshire puding... the food woowww it's all VERY GOOD. I will stay here again as soon as I'm in London again
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this local pub and was absolutely delighted with the Slow Cooked Pork Belly Roll with apple sauce that I ordered. The dish surpassed all my expectations and left me thoroughly satisfied. I simply cannot stop raving about my dining experience, and here's why. First and foremost, the pork belly roll was a culinary masterpiece. The meat was succulent and tender, having been slow-cooked to perfection. The flavors in every bite were rich and satisfying, with each mouthful melting in my mouth. The presentation of the dish was also impeccable. The portion size was generous, and I felt completely satisfied after finishing my meal. The sides that accompanied the pork belly roll were equally amazing. I cannot sing its praises enough and urge everyone to try it for themselves.
Thank you for a wonderful Sunday roast, lovingly prepared by Santolo and Concetta. Succulent roast beef with crisp and fluffy roast potatoes, accompanied by rich and creamy cauliflower cheese, red cabbage and sweet glazed baby carrots was an absolute treat, not to mention the delicious homemade banana loaf for pudding. Best Sunday roast in Leyton hands down!
Go for Sunday lunch. Insanely generous portions. Well cooked, tastes fantastic. Great service. Nice friendly atmosphere.Food: 5/5
Classic English pub atmosphere, the pub looks cleaner than usual pubs and tables are not sticky which is a very annoying feature of pubs. The second room is brighter and looks more like a restaurant. The place stepped up after the kitchen has been taken in management by an Italian couple. Sunday Roast in pubs always disappointed me as it's always in the form of very thin meat slices which kinda look like hospital food, while in this case the Sunday Roast is meaty and the best one I tried so far I can suggest the beef or the roasted trio in the pub range of 15-25£. The couple has also been proved to be very flexible in order to satisfy customers, for example my friend had fish and chips at lunch on Sunday even if it's normally not in the menu for lunch. Vegetarian options: There's always a vegetarian option
The Sunday roast was amazing! The service was great and the atmosphere too.Food: 5/5
Great for a karaoke night! Nice service. We ordered burgers and wings. It can gets really busy and doesn't matter if you booked, is going to be busy anyway.
The namesake would be proud of this place. The Staff are top notch and the kitchen “Chef Santolo” served a burger fit for a king. That secret sauce Recommended dishesFried Chicken Burger
