It's a weatherspoons but also a proper local boozer. So great beer selection and prices but quite a few strange people. However most are friendly and some even interesting. Can get crowded. Has more atmosphere than most weatherspoons.

Very clean. Good food (we had the English Breakfast) and very good price - 2 breakfasts, 2 drinks one of which was refillable for £9. Nice ambience as at 10.00 most locals were in on their own for a quiet breakfast, coffee or pint. Will definitely go back to sample the main menu which had traditional pub comfort food e.g Sausage and mash with gravy, Scampi and chips etc.

Great pub great food, staff are wonderful and over the years made some good friends staff can't do enough for you. So 5 stars it is go on down and see for yourself you won't be disappointed.

Good beer, always in perfect condition. I enjoy real ale and have never had a bad pint here. The menu is a bit limited compared to other pubs in the Wetherspoon chain, but is always beautifully prepared
