Nice, cosy, quite relaxing place to go and have a drink and simple but a good range of pub food at a reasonable price. Staff are very attentive and friendly. One of the best local pubs in the area as there are quite a few. The Nags head has adequate parking, wheel chair access with a good size outside space to seat with heating. Being right next to the local police office, bus stops and nearby cab firms is an added bonus.

A slightly eccentric but ultimately warm and homely pub in the middle of a quiet and leafy part of Walthamstow. The staff are superb and the food extremely tasty and well priced. Perfect for a sunny afternoon whiling away hours in their expansive and calm oasis of a beer garden. Dog and cat friendly as well which makes this a firm choice for those with four legged compatriots.

Rude staff, unfriendly, massive attitude, especially the landlady. Although the guy that brings the food out from the kitchen was nice. Allowed children and babies out the back until 7:30pm, but no pushchairs or baby carriers due to "trip hazards", so you must carry small children. Allowed massive dogs on long leads though. Been there a few times, and this was the last, as nothing has improved. One can only hope for new management soon. Good pizza though.

Not the best pub in the Walthamstow Village area, but not too shabby either. This is a friendly, quirky pub, with a slightly older clientele on the whole, that is very welcoming and comfortable. The building itself is a historic place on a cobbled road with a decent amount of outdoor seating and worth a visit in the summer. I've always treated this pub as a place to stop en route to another place. The food is average, but the beers are well kept and reasonably priced. All in all, a decent pub, if not a place I could call my local.

Awful experience. The landlady is extremely rude and not just towards the staff but also towards the patrons. Bar service was extremely slow and bar staff got orders wrong on more than one occasion. Sadly all the pubs in the village area are ostentatious. But there are stll better pubs than this one Avoid it at all costs.
