Interesting little wine shop run by enthusiasts. Good selection of reasonably priced wines with the emphasis on lesser known vineyards in the classic regions. You can buy a bottle to take away or drink there (there's a corkage charge) or go for the wines of the day -three whites and three reds with different characters and prices. Easy option, but a good way of trying new things. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They do some bistro type food here, good quality but simple. It's small to the point of intimacy, so a table can be hard to find at peak times - especially Wednesday, when there's no corkage for drinking in. Prices are on a par with similar venues in the area, plus you are getting wines that you won't find anywhere else around here.

The staff are very knowledgeable, the wine is delicious and extremely reasonably priced. If you want a quiet catch-up with a couple friends, or with a loved one, here is where you should come!

An amazing wine and spirits shop/bar in the heart of Walthamstow Village. Every moment was enjoyed here and I was pleasantly surprised at the vast selection of drinks available for what looks like such a little shop!

Although expensive, this is a lovely, small, intimate, unique place if you are looking for somewhere to go as a special treat. If its to buy a special bottle to have at home and you want to try something new, I wouldnt recommend it because unfortunately the staff are not very knowledgeable about wine so dont expect to get great advice. I have found that they only listen to how much ££ you are willing to spend and if they dont have what you are interested in, will push whatever they have. Not sure whether its a hard-sell place or they just dont know as much about wine as they pretend.
