This must be some kind of a joke this place. Sorry but I'm trying to get through to this practice for a week now. Noone is bother to pick up the phone. Ridiculous service
I went to this health centre today to see a chiropodist. Upon arrival I was told, by the receptionist, that I had to wear a mask. I asked why as it was not law and was told that there was a new strain of COVID about that was dangerous. THIS IS A LIE. Yes,there is a new strain but,like all viruses that evolve,is much weaker and definitely NOT dangerous. However,she persisted until I told her I was exempt. She asked to see my exemption. IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO ASK TO SEE AN EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE. Why have they been told to do this?Why are they not aware of the law regarding this issue ? In my opion they are ill informed scaremongers!
Every time my doctor HAS to refer me through to a service via this community service hub I think to myself … “oh no, not again!” It took 6 years of battling with them to help my elderly mother with her spinal problems, to actually help her. Twice they lost her in their systems very conveniently probably due to her being in her 80’s and by the time I had to do an official complaint via channels much higher up, it was too late for anything to be done surgery wise. My own experience is also very disappointing and when I was first referred to a physio It should never of been an option as I needed surgery - it was a downhill slope right from then on. The physio was very clueless to my issues and used to get so close to me and rub himself up against me, making me feel very uncomfortable and vulnerable. I was scared and he knew i couldn’t do anything because he had hold of my bad hip. He left me traumatised. I made a complaint when I got home as i had to leave the building as fast as I could after I got free from his grasp. My complaint was ignored and I’m terrified every time I get referred back there now. Luckily all appointments are via telephone for now. I would not recommend this place or any services it offers as they have treated me appallingly. The triage system they have in place needs to be improved greatly as it’s a delay tactic in getting you the help you actually need .
What an aweful service. They seen only to exist to extract funds from the NHS. They never ever answer their phone as I have been trying to ring for weeks at various times of the day with no response from them at all. They said they would refer me for hospital treatment five weeks ago. Today I called the hospital to find out how long the wait for an appointment would be I was told they had not even received a referral at all. This so called service epitomises all that is wrong with the NHS at the moment.
Very rude receptionist they should learn basic manners to talk over the phone.
Seemed a little disjointed, when I went in the lady asked if I was there for some foot problem, I wasn't I was there for my shoulder. I was told to register my attendance on a touchscreen, which I did another man then said he couldn't get it to work. Eventually got seen, lady was very nice and I hope her advice will help.
Good facility, but very poor service. After waiting we chased what was happening and found the receptionist didn't bother recording our arrival. Seemed more interesting in chatting and Web browsing.
Impossible to get through by phone. Blood Test side is permanently enraged and there's no reply on the main number. Why isn't there an answering machine? I'd rather have "Your call is very important to us ..." than nothing.
Gentle people and fast service.
It's very efficient,my appointment time was spot on I didn't have to wait,I was happy with the physiotherapist he was polite and professional and he also allows me to ask questions and he give me satisfactory answers.
