I am so glad I found Dr Iqbal Mohiuddin! I have been seeing psychiatrists for over 16 years now and he is by far the best from my experience. I instantly felt comfortable with him when I tend to have difficulty trusting doctors in that field for good reason. Dr Iqbal works so hard to make his patients feel like they matter and are being listened to, taking your opinion into consideration when it comes to treatment while explaining everything to you. He is very friendly and easy to talk to while being professional and great at his job. I really wish I had came accross him sooner. I had been turned down for adult adhd assessment by other private providers due to other existing mental problems making my case "difficult", luckily this brilliant psychiatrist has helped quite a few people in this position. I am now being treated after going through most of my life undiagnosed and I feel that I am in extremely good hands. His follow up appointments are very helpful, he genuinely cares that you are doing as well as possible. I have always felt better after speaking to him. Even his receptionist Pam is very kind, helpful and patient. I can not recommend Dr Iqbal enough!
I’ve been with Dr Iqbal for a year now and have not regretted it! I couldn’t believe my luck when I found all these glowing reviews and luckily, I can confirm that it was not too good to be true. He is always so warm and understanding whenever I speak with him. In particular, I remember feeling so nervous before my assessment, but he made sure I felt comfortable from the very moment he walked in the room and just let me speak. I would absolutely recommend him to a friend!
Like most people in the UK, I was staring down the barrel of a 2/3 year waiting list for an ADHD assessment. After a lot of research, I committed to pursuing a private diagnosis. I reached out to IamPsychiatry and they instantly felt like the right group to go with. 3ish months since I found them, after a lot of work, I am diagnosed, medicated and doing really well. The consultations and evaluations have been superb. Dr Iqbal is engaging and supportive. I've found other mental health providers I've worked with to steer a little too cold, but Dr Iqbal has a real warmth that underpins the very calm, collected and professional experience he gives you. If you're going through it at the moment, he really is a great person to get you to the other side. His staff are also fantastic. I highly recommend IamPsychiatry and am grateful for the access they've provided to a practical solution that's enriching my life.

My experience with Dr Iqbal has been nothing short of amazing! After struggling to cope with many aspects of life for over 30 years, I was very nervous prior to my appointment with Dr Iqbal but I really didn’t have anything to be concerned about as he was so friendly, understanding, and professional. The whole process from booking my appointment to receiving my diagnosis and treatment for ADHD was very simple. Having been to see a few specialists in my time, I have never connected with someone like I have Dr. Ikbal. He has shown me patience, understanding and taught me how to manage situations and think differently. Dr. Iqbal has really helped me. Having struggled for years through long wait times with the NHS most recently being advised up to 5 years for an ADHD assessment, Dr. Iqbal has been a life saver. I managed to secure an appointment within a matter of weeks. On meeting face to face, he was very caring, friendly and understanding. At no point did I feel uncomfortable or pressured to share/hide anything in particular. Just completely natural, and the more I spoke and the more he listened/asked the right questions, the more things made sense. I am 4 weeks since my initial appointment, and the treatment plan that Dr. Iqbal agreed with me has honestly changed my life for the better in so many ways. I am in the best headspace I have been in for about 6 years, and I am getting so much more enjoyment in every day to day activity I am involved in as a direct result of his help and care. My therapist suggested that I may wish to explore ADHD as a cause for many of my frustration and anxiety issues. This is after 20 years of depression, anxiety and other mental problems. After waiting on the NHS list for 5 months and being told there is an 18 month wait! I decided to go private. I looked at many psychiatrists and found that Dr Iqbal was highly recommended. It is the best decision I have ever made. Dr Iqbal's expertise are evident as soon as you meet him. He has a caring, interested manner and you can tell that he is genuinely interested in you, the person and in helping you. I cannot recommend him enough and the treatment I am now on has changed my life.
Dr Iqbal is nothing short of brilliant. I have suffered with my mental health since I was a teenager. I was MISdiagnosed with anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder, I am now 32. I have been on more mood stabilisers and anti depressants than I care to count! However, none of it helped, I felt misunderstood, unhappy and different to my peers. Each doctor I saw simply carried the diagnosis over instead of investigating or spotting the signs of ADHD. From the start, Dr Iqbal made me feel at ease. He is warm, kind and understanding. He took great care and time exploring my history and behaviour in each aspect of my life. He explained ADHD, it's complexity and for the first time I could relate. I felt safe to have much needed! difficult conversations about my impulsivity and wreckless behaviour. I was diagnosed with ADHD in August 2022 and started treatment soon after. Fast forward 4 months and I am reborn. It sounds dramatic but I am a new person. Everyone around me can see it but more importantly, I can feel it. I have been given a new lease of life. I am calmer, fitter, happier, more positive and there is less noise in my head. I feel peace in myself which is priceless. If you are on the fence about booking an appointment with Dr Iqbal, this is your sign to book it now. He is a wonderful Doctor and I am eternally grateful for his expertise.
I was diagnosed with ADHD by Dr Iqbal Mohiuddin back in July 22 following a private assessment, and I cannot recommend his services highly enough. Naturally, I was apprehensive about the assessment; it can be daunting to spend 2-3 hours with someone you don't know I did this over video call, but he made me feel very comfortable, listened to everything I had to say and took me seriously. I received confirmation of the diagnosis by email shortly after along with useful info & self-help advise and received a prescription for medication within a couple of days. He has continued to offer me a great deal of support months on in finding the correct medication & dosage. Having spent over a decade seeking support from various health professionals and being repeatedly misdiagnosed and treated for depression, BPD & bipolar disorder, I can't begin to describe how grateful and relieved I am to have found Dr Mohiuddin. I genuinely feel that he really cares and wants the best for his patients. I was kept informed of costs at every stage and was offered advise regarding shared care agreements early on. Now that I have found a stable dosage, I feel confident to seek shared care with my GP. If you're considering choosing IamPsychiatry for an assessment, going by the experience I've had, I'm confident that you will receive the same exceptional service.
