Really friendly pub, nice atmosphere, good food at reasonable prices. Great beers and my wife says a cup of tea like we make at home. Great service, a great place to go after a lovely walk down by the river Meavy.
Just been for my first roast here with friends and it certainly won't be my last. The pork fell apart, plentiful crackling and the best cauliflower cheese I've ever eaten, bar none. My wine allergy was easily resolved with the vegetarian gravy, which I'd never have known wasn't meaty. It was easy to contact the pub with the booking too. First world problem quibble - only ice cream for dessert, so we didn't bother.
First class meal, Great value for money, will certainly book again.
Great pub with very friendly and welcoming host. Great pint of Guiness there served perfectly. Not eaten there yet but has excellent reputation for food. Will certainly be calling in again.
This is a very old very cute countryside pub. The people working here are friendly, they serve good food and offer a decent selection of drinks... and they have a beer garden comparable to Narnia :- there are a couple of friendly ponies in the paddock next to it too! They also have their own car park, which is handy.
Lovely little village pub with friendly staff and good atmosphere. Has a great outdoor area with a play park. As well as the goats there is a small sheep who thinks he is one too! Will definitely go back to see some music.
Lovely venue with an excellent large garden area with a really cool pirate ship for the kids to play on. Friendly staff and great atmosphere
