Top rated, probably one of the top 5 best pubs in Cambridge. Great premises, atmosphere and the best service. It's menu has a lot of options including meals for the kids. Be aware that it's not cheap.
Fantastic place for a meal. Had the mixed grill which was cooked to perfection. Looking forward to another visit hopefully when the weather is warmer so we can sit outside by the river. Highly recommended.
Loved the food and place of this restaurant I liked my stake , but the squid rings were perfectly cooked , reminded me my visit to Spain , there I had a lot of squid , so here was a surprise of how well cooked and how fresh it was , 5 stars from me , really good location by the river
Great location, nice decor and seating inside and out park benches and smaller tables and chairs outside. There is also a dedicated drinkers area away from those eating. Good background music outside playing at a good level, great menu with lots to choose including a good amount of seafood. Table service just lacking a little character to be memorable but, my server Alex was friendly and the host/front of house server John-Paul was very lively and accomodating and found me a table straight away despite not having a booking on a busy Saturday evening. I had the 'Mixed grill' which consisted of a Cumberland sausage, rump steak, chicken breast, gammon steak, fried egg, thick cut chips, cherry tomatoes and a rocket and cucumber salad. The portion size was very good and good value for money at about £18 however, Some improvements to the meats/cooking/flavours needed as the steak was a little bland and not medium rare as I asked but medium well, the chicken breast was very tough and I didn't finish it, the gammon was very nice, thick and juicy and the sausage was also well seasoned. The chips were a little bland and some not quite fully cooked through but nice and thick, like roast potatoes in chip form. All in all The bridge gets a 3/5 #thebridgewaterbeach #waterbeach #cambridge #restaurantreview #restaurantcritic #foodreviews #bikelife #motorcyclevlogs #motovlogs #foodcritic @the.bridge.waterbeach
Lovely pub on the river. Plenty of parking. Small bar area for coffee and bar snacks if you don't have a reservation. Saturday lunchtime was rather busy but a few walk ins where able to get tables. Dog friendly in the bar area. You need to go to the bar to order I was in the bar area however once I ordered I stood and waited for my drinks to see them being placed on a tray so went back to my table for the drinks to follow behind me. staff friendly. My dish came out super quick.
Fantastic. Great food and plenty of it with "Northern" portions of Gravy. Very relaxed and unrushed atmosphere. Very friendly and polite staff. Very highly recommended place to eat.
It’s in a nice location of river side, the staff are very friendly and helpful, pet-friendly. From what we ordered, fried squid and pork stewed pies are most recommend!
A Greene King Pub situated on the river cam with gorgeous calming views of the river. Serving a variety of food there is something for someone including a dog station. This pub is dogfriendly and offers cool refreshment for our furry family friends. For those with a bluelight card, bring it and use to get a discount in the words of a supermarket "Every little helps" Lots of places to sit and huge carpark. Look out for the submerged boat and "binky" This pub will soon be cashless at time of writing Lunch times do get busy and food is only served inside and patio only.. We stayed for hours sipping coffee by the river enjoying views. Very much reccomended
Lovely walk along the River Cam and a most welcome stop at the Bridge for a drink and some food. Location is fantastic, staff were very friendly, service was excellent and the food was amazing, large outside seating area by the river was very nice.
Lovely location and the brunch was fab! Very reasonably priced. Coffee wasn’t too great not hot and I received a large pot of hot water with one teabag and a small cup confusing Service is a tad slow, so don’t go if you’re in a rush! Overall a really nice experience and we would definitely recommend The Bridge and would return.
