Excellent farm based b&b with a converted barn restaurant as a bonus also on a Thursday night they run a fish and chip night where you eat your food out of greaseproof and share banter with the locals well worth a visit

The food here is incredible. The rooms are clean and tidy, cleaned spotlessly and stocked well and the service is second to none.

After a night camping in the middle of the Black Mountains we afforded ourselves a little luxury and opted for this B&B. The location was superb - you can walk straight up the Cat's Back from the farm - and the atmosphere warm and friendly (accompanied by the bleating of newborn lams). The beds were warm and comfortable in newly well appointed rooms with M&S soaps! The breakfast was indeed hearty with a fine choice of cereals and stunning apple juice, though I let myself down by being vegetarian. We also enjoyed dinner in the evening here which was really beautiful simple good food and great value. I have to say that based on the quality of their potatoes and chips (which come as included side dishes) I should think their Thursday fish and chips night must be a real winner. The local and home made dessert range was also exceptional.

Superb food cooked by Pauline from their own beef. Tastiest steak I've tasted for a long time and am excellent beef pie. Lovely, friendly service.

Stayed for a couple of nights whilst taking part in a local mountain challenge event. Had a really comfortable stay, clean comfortable room, good shower, friendly owners, great hospitality and a fabulous restaurant serving great food and wine in a stunning location, what more can you ask for!
