Really great little hotel, all staff were excellent and the rooms were to a very high standard. The food was also superb. Will definitely be coming back!

This place is an absolute gem.It's rated as 2 star but it should be at least 3+.Fair enough there wasn't a T.V. in the room but Roy and Judith,the hosts, more than made up for that,with their"Nothing is too much trouble" approach to ensure a most agreeable stay.Accomodation very comfortable and clean.Food extremely well prepared and just lovely.The residents lounge cosy with a huge log fire. The only slight disappointment was that being in Wales laverbread was not on the menu.However,looking back,who wants to eat seaweed anyway? If you are down by Hay on Wye and looking for somewhere to rest your head,give this one a go.You'll be glad you did.

The friendly landlord and landlady make you feel right at home. Beautiful clean country style rooms in the middle of Welsh country bliss. Food of local produce and a mouth watering menu served to perfection. My second time here and i still haven't found a negative point! Definitely coming again.
