We had fantastic drinks and nibbles party on the top floor of the White Hart last night. Food and drinks were amazing. The staff were super helpful and attentive, as well as the manager, for the pre-party communications. Would definitely book another party or event here. Highly recommend!
Visited to mark a 1-year anniversary. Not important, just a reason to go out.nnWaiter was excellent throughout. Professional, attentive, no issues. Problem is the kitchen.nnOrdered Roast Trio chicken, beef, pork with standard roast vegetables. £50.nnHappy to wait for food if quality reflects it.nnBeef – extremely chewy, very difficult to cut even with a steak knife.Roast potatoes – soft outside, hard centre, not properly cooked through.Chicken – heavily over-salted, no crisp skin.Vegetables – acceptable.nnRequested replacement plate. For £50 the quality was unacceptable.nnReplacement:Beef – cooked properly.Roast potatoes – cooked properly.Chicken – raw. Pink meat, pink juices.nnWhen asked earlier if everything was fine, we confirmed it was, as the chicken had not yet been cut into.nnWe declined further food and requested a refund. Paid for drinks only, which is fair.nnMain issue: no manager or senior staff attended the table to acknowledge the problem or apologise.nnUndercooked chicken is a basic food safety failure. If served to a child or elderly person this could cause serious illness.nnNo scene made. Remained polite and respectful.nnHave visited this pub multiple times for drinks by the river. Good location. Kitchen performance unacceptable.
A little gem! Beautifully decorated pub with incredible views, a big terrace and tables right next to the river. It’s quiet, chill, cocktails are very nice and so is food!
I don’t know how they do it. On a packed heatwave evening, the bar/restaurant manager here is an absolute asset to Young’s — never seen so few people run a pub this size with such speed and good energy. It’s a brilliant pub. I just hope Young’s give them the support they deserve, because this team is working incredibly hard.
Lovely pub overlooking the Thames. Nice inside, with high ceilings and a comfortable vibe, and an amazing terrace right on the river. Had great, friendly service from moment we walked in the door until we walked out. Food was nice, good burger, fish and chips and Sunday roast.
