I tried the buffalo wings, pigs in blankets, calamari & their bacon burger and I was impressed by everything they brought to the table. The calamari and pigs in blankets were as crispy as you’d expect and tasted great. The buffalo wings had the perfect amount of spice so as not to overpower the flavour, and the burger was cooked, seasoned & constructed to perfection. It was a fairly simple order, but it was all cooked with such care that I enjoyed it much more than I expected to. I’d definitely recommend anyone in Streatham visit this pub!
Arrived at The Railway really excited to try the food! I can say happily it did not disappoint. We shared some starters which were so tasty but the Tacos were incredible! Followed by a perfectly cooked steak and well seasoned chips. The red wine we had Pinot noir was lovely too!
A good corner pub, just over the road from the station with a good beer selection Inc Orbit, Pretty Decent, and an all day menu with good starters and mains.nI'll definitely be back!
Popped in for Sunday dinner and honestly, the food was fantastic! We started with the croquettes and the sausage with black pudding roll—both were so tasty and a definite must-try. It’s one of those places that works for anything—whether you're after a quick bite, sharing a few plates with mates over drinks, or just want a really lovely dinner. The vibe is great and the food won’t disappoint. Highly recommend giving it a go!
I enjoyed having a drink at this pub. Be aware that it is pretty noisy. The staff were lovely too. Unfortunately the Sunday lunch food was a real let down. You could barely get a knife into the roasties and the burger I had just didn't taste nice at all.
