The Northcote is a great place for some drinks and to hang out with friends. Its comfortable, relaxed, and staff here is very friendly and helpful. We had a great time, the drinks were good and so was the food.
For the past two years, we have booked the upstairs bar/room for our Xmas lunch with c25 mates and their kids. Vilia and her team are brilliant and the room is perfect for a lunch see pic. The only reason we gave 4* for the food was while the turkey was decent the sprouts were undercooked - wholly subjective I know! We look forward to next Xmas - if the sprouts are cooked?!
I booked a gathering with a bunch of friends just before Christmas. The team were really helpful in organizing everything for me, gave us free use of the upstairs space as they didn't have a booking, which meant we had use of the upstairs bar too, and even decorated our tables with Christmas crackers. It felt very festive, and we had a great afternoon/evening. The staff on the day were all lovely too! We will definitely make this our go-to place when arranging our get togethers in future! Thanks all!
Huge thank you to Becca who moved us from our booked table to one upstairs as we found the music way too loud downstairs to talk. She moved our food order, brought water and was very attentive and friendly. First time here but would come again due to her excellent service.
Popped in for a late lunch. The food was nice, the decor was ok, the staff new but overall a great place to catch up with friends. As it got busier the atmosphere was great and the manager was really lovely.
