Friday afternoon was busy and loud but this doesn’t surprise me as the quality of food is amazing. The service is mega friendly, helpful and quick which is a great add-on to the wonderful, fresh and cozy environment. Also, it was nice to be able to see pizzas coming out from the stone oven and how it’s made. The fireplace was making my time in the White Hart relaxing. Parking: There is a small parking but this doesn’t cover everyone when the pub is full.
Wonderful food, beautifully presented and well proportioned. Fantastic service. Such a nice atmosphere which manages to cater to everyone from friends meeting up for a meal to family dinners and celebrations to romantic meals. Loved the decor - wood panelling, stained glass, lovely! Can’t wait to come back for a date night If it’s useful for anyone, I had the Roast Chicken main with a Caesar Salad side, and my partner the Pork Medallions. Absolutely delicious, even the side salad was properly good decently dressed, not like so many pathetically dry afterthoughts I usually get served. For dessert we shared the Lemon Tart wow! served with Blackcurrant Sorbet double wow from my partner.
Wow not often I haven't got one niggle.. if you've not been here yet your missing out. Food was second to non services was faultless and staff were very friendly we had a great experience. We would definitely come again. Thank you and well done Food: 5/5

We found the restaurant purely by driving past it and thought it looked like a nice place to eat. The food was found to be excellent and presented very well. A step up from your average pub food for sure. We will return here when next in the area. Well done!
We booked a table for a Birthday meal Saturday afternoon. The staff are really good and very observant!! We had 5 lovely and different meals all served hot and together, a tricky thing to get right !! The waitress overheard us mention it was for a birthday treat and bought out a candle in a cake , as i said observant !! A nice thing to do. Great value, good food and service . We will be back
One the best steaks I've had in years, nice chips too. Starter nice, service good. Downer for me was no ciderrun out of tap, and only a fruit choice in a bottle!!, do you think maybe that's a bit of a slim choice for a pub. Other thing was the noise, acoustics in the room and 2 large groups on tables meant we had trouble talking to each other.Chair was hard too. But hey the food was excellent
I was searching for a new place to eat. After googling the top places in Derby, ‘The White Hart’ was an option. We’ll speak about the good bits first. The Menu was very appealing and attractive with some great prices too, so we booked a table. Initially it stated we’d get a table inside but we desired to have one outside due to the weather. We made a note for an outside table if available. There is designated parking for customers only which is free. The interior decor is beautiful creating a warm, welcoming ambiance. The Tables are spaced out enough to give customers their privacy. We were then sat outside in the garden under a pergola. The Pergola garden area is beautiful. Designed beautifully for family’s and friends in partitioned areas for you and your party. There is a bar outside too. They offer table service or you can order at the bar. We ordered our food - Pan Fried Sea Bass and Kerala Fish Curry. It was divine! Absolutely beautiful! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the food and service was ‘almost’ faultless! I’d definitely recommend the Fish Curry. There’s not many places that can get this right, but ‘The White Hart’ got it spot on!!! We weren’t waiting too long for food either which was great. The staff attended to us and made sure we were alright or if we needed anything. Thank you for a lovely ‘White Hart heart ’ experience. Oh… The Bad bits… There are none.
We booked the garden seating area for my daughters 21st Birthday party and we all had a ball! The staff took such good care of us, Caitlin and Dylan could not do more. A great day, in a lovely venue, with superb service, made the Birthday girl very happy. Highly Recommended.
The White Hart is our local, which is great, as the food, drinks and service are excellent. Today I visited with my 91 year old father. He had a fall in the garden, and the staff were brilliant. Looking after him, checking whether he needed an ambulance etc. Caitlin was particularly attentive. She dialled 999, in case he needed an ambulance, fetched the first aid kit, and ensured he was fine. He was just a little shaken, but the attention certainly helped settle him down.
