Just had Sunday lunch, had the 2 course menu , excellent value for money at 19.99, food was hot, tasty and top quality, asked for beef as pink as possible and it certainly was, I asked if they could do cauliflower cheese as I just fancied it, chef was more than happy to do it. Staff so friendly and Gabby was such a good host. Definitely be back again as it’s on our door step.
Stopped off on way to Preston Hotel stay. Lunch time, raining and 3 hour drive. Nice welcome good lunch menue and nice beer. Good find would visit againFood: 4/5
Had a lovely Sunday roast cooked to perfection they even did my partner a side dish that wasn't on the menu, service was great also, thank you very much we will definitely be backFood: 5/5
Having viewed the menu online we decided to go and try it , unfortunately the menu online is no longer available, there was not alot of choice 4 mains , so we ended up leaving , if and when the menu is up n running again we will try again, menu is fine for a lunch or basic everyday tea .Food: 3/5
This is a lovely, old world style pub, serving very good pub food. Very friendly and helpful staff and a roaring log fire....what more could you ask for.Food: 5/5
The food was really tasty and a better quality than a lot of other pubs I've visited. Inexplicably quiet on a Friday evening considering how good it was. If you've got a big appetite, get a starter or a couple of other bits as well. Very good! Parking: Lots of parking spaces next to the pub. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible from the car park and plenty of space around some tables for a wheelchair.

Lovely, clean and cosy pub, very friendly landlady and delicious food! Lots of choice for celiacs too, plenty of GF options available. Would definitely recommend!
