Lovely doggie friendly pub, staff lovely and seems popular with locals who are also friendly. Beer garden outback where we sat in summer. Not eaten there as yet but the menu looks reasonably priced and the food that was being served to others in Bar also looked very nice. It is was a Saturday afternoon when we called for drinks again reasonably priced and it was very busy quite a few people in with well behaved dogs and my two little Yorkshire Terriers were made by very welcome. Definitely recommend this place it's what a pub should be.
Friendly staff, very clean and spacious. Dog friendly. Lovely pint of Thwaites and excellent pies. The veg and mash with my steak pie chips also an option was the best I've had in a pub in a very long time.
Packed out when we visited on a Saturday afternoon. And Thwaite Smooth on draught, what's not to like? Look at my other reviews to see where I've been!
Brilliant pub, love going in here at the weekends ,always a great atmosphere and good selection of beers at a reasonable price.
