Went with a friend and straight away was faced with hand sanitizer. The food was good and reasonably priced as usual. Felt very safe as everyone was social distancing. We did the details for the contract in case of any issues arrising with COVID. Service was very good and the staff were very helpful and polite.
Visited Thursday lunchtime in fine weather and felt very comfortable under CV-19 rules. Enjoyed some good beers and a very reasonable lunch booked through Wetherspoons app.
Quiet at 1045 on a Sunday morning and the service was quick. Items were freshly cooked so sausages were juicy and bacon not shrivelled up.

Having to order 3 plates of food was ok as this is part of tier2. But only allowed to order 3 drinks is a standing order rule not tier2 . The purpose of which can only be that you order more food. Not good customer service .
My favourite water hole when open. Great atmosphere
Quite nice, good social distancing, much what I would expect from a 'spoons.
Food was fine, beer was good, service was fine. Www Sarah in the 'No Smoking' garden, so it was disappointing to be breathing in one customer's filthy cigar smoke for the duration of our meal and not one staff member saw fit to ask him to stop.
Had to wait over 35 minutes for the food, ordered with the mobile App. When it finally turned up the food was cold, sent it back and had to wait another 40 minutes. Were offered complimentary desserets but after another 30 minutes and no sign of them, we walked out.
