A cosy old pub, definitely worth stopping by for a few pints.
Nice pub, good bar staff. Unfortunately expensive coat went missing, was not returned. Be vigilant in there. Will never go to Marquis of Lorne again.
Friendly atmosphere although music slightly too loud lol
Real old school pub cheese and biscuits on the bar friendly bar staff
Very busy on a Saturday night. Bit of a wait at the bar. Fairly crowded hard to walk through everyone. But good atmosphere. Thought a bit pricey.
So Friday night in the marquis de Lorne. What should one expect ? Perhaps not a selection of craft ales, modern liqueurs and good regular company in a 18century Inn , coupled with one of the most eclectic and friendly playlists one could hope for !! Frogman Clarence Henry ain't got no home Through Liam Gallagher Through Dionne Warwick through Bene king Through UB40, Steve Earle, Arron chuppa there's a hole in the roof, show her a little swing and finished with Pavlo Sellar, Iggy Pop, the Kooks bad habit. Among many others. The dance floor duo were astonishing! The DJ inspired and the bar staff a dream. If ever there was a reason to visit an old pub with expectation of good spirits and acceptance this is it!
Lovely small pub, chilled atmosphere, great service and nice owners. Would recommend for a nice chilled drink session.
Pleasant High Street old fashioned two bar pub, which does quizzes, music and traditional meat raffles. Lunchtime rolls are fresh and cheap.
Cute looking pub, outside seating, easy location and easy parking options. Lovely on a sunny summers day!
Lovely pub for a quiet drink. Locals are all very friendly as are the staff. The girls didn't let our drinks run dry which was fantastic. Thank you
