Ive visited here a couple of times now and each time was lovely. They have a varied menu with some delicious starters, mains and desserts. The service is good too and I've never had to wait too long to be served or for the food to arrive. The atmosphere is cosy and warm, and the staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend.
Always love eating here, the food has been great every time. Really friendly staff. Cozy, relaxed, family friendly atmosphere. Nice bar area and dining areas.
Lovely cosy winter pub. Good food and good beer. Reasonably priced and friendly efficient staff. Not more you could want really.
First time we have eaten out since February because of lockdown - we could not have felt more safe and welcomed. Fully Covid-19 secure with procedures and one way system explained to us. Staff were brilliant, service was excellent and food was delicious. Thank you everyone at The Chequers for making this such a happy time for us.

Absolutely love this pub and the people that work there. The service is absolutely top notch and they are complying with the Covid rules to the letter. They need to give the chef and the table servers a pay rise because this level of service is way above the U.K. average.
Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and served nice and hot. Will definitely be returning for more
We had a lovely meal this evening, lots to choose from. Staff are always friendly and safety measures for Covid are spot on. Can't wait to go back.
