Must be about 10 years since I last ate at a Wetherspoons. Back then as a student, £5 for a curry and pint was pretty good value for money. They used to serve a beef pie - a proper pie with short crust pastry - mashed potatoes and peas. Tonight I had the cod loin served with limp wrinkled asparagus & brown - ready for the compost bucket - salad with tasteless translucent "fresh" tomatoes. Seriously overpriced for the quality Mr W! Majority of the staff were friendly and helpful and the Thatcher's Gold was sublime so they must be looking after their pipes. I guess I ought to be grateful that the pub was open for food since the restaurants had closed for the evening at South Terminal. That being said, the experience was overpriced. Looking forwards to eating out in my new home over the pond in Canada.

Had breakfast in this establishment this morning.Yes the staff were friendly and professional . Although the food was brought out promptly if for the fact that I was not extremely hungry and had a flight to catch I would of ask them to do it again. The toast was stone cold and the butter rock hard so buttering the bread was out of the question without tearing it to pieces. The quorn sausages seem like they had been reheated in the microwave as they were extremely dry and crispy and solid at one end. Resulted in being displaced in a tissue One egg was extremely overcooked whilst the other one was undercooked. I understand the need to be quick with peoples food given the location but not at the price of poor food that I overpaid for anyway.

Fast service, my burger it was good, not fantastic, but good, service after order it was really good and simpatic, but i can't say the same about the cashier service. They were flexible to customers when i ordered some additional ingredient that wasn't in the menu, charging 1 pound. Its overpriced, what it is expected when you are in the airport.

I know it's in an airport but it's damn expensive compared to their high street pubs. Should be illegal to overcharge like that. Service was ok though.

Wasn't best pleased here, the guy bringing out the food didn't have a clue whos food was whos, subsequently other peoples burgers landed on my table and visa versa... which I find extremely off putting.
