Quick stop off In the lounge before I flew to Glasgow,it was a busy day with large amounts of people(Tuesday) staff kept the flow of clean tables and a calm atmosphere for the comfort of us travellers. I loved the library quiet area it’s a great escape from the hubbub around you on an early flight. The food was ok the continental breakfast was kept replenished well, hot food although tasted great, was popular and staff had to stay on top of refilling this. Cups and glasses ran out quickly too but staff were very accommodating. On the whole the lounge is clean welcoming and staff go that extra mile. It is wheelchair accessible and a great escape!

Needless to say, most of the reviews on here were correct. I was not surprised to be turned away even though I am a Priority Pass member. Apparently it was “over booked”, even though from what I saw there still seemed to be plenty of space. We instead wen over to Grain store cafe to use our £15 credit per person :). I would suggest heading straight there instead and just skip the No1 Lounge. They honestly shouldn’t even be named No1 Lounge, because clearly they are no where near being #1!

I am a frequent traveller and experienced the worst possible experience in this lounge. Not enough staff and the place was filthy. The bar could hardly be seen through the used glasses and plates. One staff member working a bar with over 10 people waiting for a drink. A queue for the hot food which was half empty. Lots of staff meeting guests at the entrance but why continue to allow people in when they could hardly cope with the number already in there? According to the manager 4 people didn’t turn up for work.. senior management need to step in and acknowledge the number of negative reviews and do something about it. Poor management leads to poor service and I am sure others won’t be returning in a hurry. I’d get a better service at Wetherspoons!

Summary - terrible experience, the main airport waiting area is just as good, if not better. Not worth a penny. - Arrived 6 minutes early, and they wanted £5 for that. Decided to wait 6 minutes at reception instead. Quite pathetic. - Found a free table, but it was filthy. Had to ask someone to clean it (and it was hard finding staff). - After a short time, it got so busy that people entering couldn't find seats and they were leaving. - You only get 1 baby sized portion of food with your visit. This isn't made very clear. - There are no showers here. Most other lounges have showers. - Seats are rather uncomfortable. Cannot get comfy, and there's no chance you can get any sleep. - The carpet floors were quite dirty. - 4 coffee machines across the entire lounge. 2 were broken (maintenance required message). - The milk ran out and it wasn't refilled for over an hour. - The juice jugs were disgustingly filthy. - Only 2 male toilets, with a huge queue to get in. I gave up and went outside to the main airport toilet. I don't like giving one start reviews, but this place really deserves it. £45 for nothing. I think if I got access for free, I still wouldn't visit.

I would rate less than 1 star. They are always “fully booked “ so I don’t know what it’s like inside. They do not accept priority pass unless you pay a £10 booking fee per person. This goes against the point of the Priority Card where you get lounge access with the card. Every time I have gone to the lounge we are firstly greeted with ‘do you have a reservation?’ When we show the priority card we always get their generic ‘we are fully booked’. Why collaborate with Priority Pass if you don’t want Priority Pass holder in your lounge? False advertisement at its best!
