We stayed here two nights ago. I have mobility problems and requested an accessible room. The room was in the courtyard with easy access to the room door from the disabled parking bay. Once inside the room the first thing I noticed was the space, which was big enough to manoeuvre a wheelchair anywhere. The bed was huge (even bigger than a super king!), and extremely comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was also accessible and contained a large wet room style shower area. There was also a chair for use in the shower and the power of the shower was superb. The room also had a flat screen TV, desk, tea making facility, ironing board, iron, safe, luggage rest, table and three chairs. The staff were very friendly and helpful and i would thoroughly recommend staying here to anyone, with or without an accessible requirement.

Fabulous venue for my daughter's wedding. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much bother. Food was amazing and rooms luxurious ... can wholeheartedly recommend the Western House😍

Beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms - I particularly liked the free apples cookies and hot chocolate provided! The bathrobes and slippers were also a nice touch. The restaurant served a great menu with original vegetarian options and fresh fish too. The staff at breakfast were particularly helpful, and offered to order almond milk in for my colleague next time she stayed there!

Situated beside Ayr Racecourse it is a good loxation for touring. Lovely gardens for walking and relaxing. Good restaurant, lovely food. Never stayed so can't comment on rooms or facilities.

Excellent, they had a wedding on the Saturday and Hogmany Ball Sunday. The staff were called upon to do a lot of hours and they never wilted, the customer service provided was above and beyond. The Hotel was very clean and an interesting building. Will definitely be back.
