Last time I was at Brig o' Doon was for dinner with my family. The restaurant was cosy with a nice atmosphere. Food was delicious and was very fast. Staff were happy, friendly and made sure to check up on us. Gardens are beautiful especially with the view of the Brig in the background. Overall a very nice place and makes Ayrshire proud.

If I could only give 6 stars !!!. Superb surroundings, staff and food. Emily our waitress was so helpful and so polite well dressed and couldnt have been more pleasant. The cost of lunch for 2 including wine was not overly expensive. We will definately return so give this venue a try it wont let you down.

We did not stay here, but had a delicious meal in the accompanying restaurant. Exquisite food and service. The atmosphere is amazing!

Beautiful venue with a Scottish feel. Enjoyed how they have tied the local lore of Tam O'Shanter and Robert Burns into the decor and feel of the venue. Food was very good, had Christmas lunch menu - Chicken Liver Pate starter and Roast Chicken with Mushroom Sauce main. Enjoyed the wild mushrooms in the mushroom sauce and flavors overall were excellent and fresh. Service had some issues however. There was a wedding at same time as our lunch, so staff was busy and inattentive. Glasses on table were dirty with waterspots and lipstick and had to be sent back and there was quite a wait to place order and then for starters to arrive (30 minutes from ordering to arriving). Waitstaff were slow for drink refills and did not clear table frequently enough. Food was good enough to keep this 4/5 instead of a 3 but even an average service experience would have this review a 5/5.
