Had the bacon cheeseburger from here and it was perfect. Never had such a good burger in all my life! Although the menu did state I would receive fries with my burger and I did not. We booked a table in the bar for 6 people and were made to sit at a table clearly meant for 4 and it made it very uncomfortable while eating. The hotel/restaurant has a very unique look with tons of decrotive and antique pictures and ornaments. The staff were very attentive and polite although the young bar maid seemed more interested in talking to her friend at the bar than serving customers

Quirky and good hotel.. some unique features. Bar which is quite large could have another real ale available to expand choice.. great breakfast

Always a friendly atmosphere for a very enjoyable pint. Plenty of choices behind the bar from friendly staff. Good choice of venue to watch the football or the rugby. Decent pool table as well
