We recently had pur mums funeral tea in the function suite. The staff were all amazing, polite, efficient, attentive. The food was lovely, the lentil soup was praised by everyone, as well as the savoury sausage rolls, spring rolls and sandwich fillings. They even catered for my coeliac husband. Tray bakes were plentiful also. Thank you to everyone at the Horizon, from waiting staff, kitchen and front of house, thank you

Hotel was awesome, cannot praise enough. Disabled room, had everything we needed. Lots of room, clean. High standered. Staff was awesome, reception. Waiters. NOTHING WAS ANY TROUBLE. MEALS was 10/10. Recommended to everybody. Will stay again.
Loved this hotel. Thr rooms are dated but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was wonderful and location excellent. Only 2 mins to the beach
Just home from a 3 night stay,our room was lovely room 15,the beds are so comfortable,couldn't fault the food or staff,.next time we're in ayr we'll definitely stay again,100%recommend
