Quite dirty at platform level, no escalators, you have to use the emergency stairs or one of the 2 elevators, but the wall tiles in the ticket hall look fabolous and well preserved

When staying in Holloway, excellent way of getting around the tourist sites using the Piccadilly Line!!
The antiquated Edwardian style station of Holloway Road is an example of the more easily findable and non-versatile but efficient stations between Finsbury Park and the City. Easy to walk to from Highbury & Islington. The spiral staircase does give a more negative impression of the station, however.
This is the closest station to the Emirates Stadium. Anyone getting off at the earlier Highbury station will have to walk. It's a 2-minute walk from this station to the stadium. The station itself isn't particularly impressive, and cleanliness should be improved.
