Story

Llandegla Fishery is ideally situated for mountain biking and walking with a wealth of outdoor activities available within the magnificent environment of the Welsh hills. We are adjacent to one of the most popular mountain bike centres in the Wales (Coed Llandegla mountain bike centre’s entrance is 100 yards from our gate). There is also an RSBP centre within the forest and walks around the reservoir, home to black grouse. We are one mile away from Offa’s Dyke path. Llandegla shooting ground, gliding club and horse riding centre are all within a three mile radius.

The family team at Llandegla Fishery aim to provide you with a warm welcome in a relaxed atmosphere.

A great venue for a perfect day! My partner, now wife, and I chose the Llandegla Fishery as the campsite to accompany our wedding reception which we were having at Oneplanet Adventure, the bike centre up the road. Our wedding party of around 35 people took over the camp site for the night with tents, camper vans and even filled up the B&B on site. Simon from the Fishery went above and beyond our expectations and really made us feel welcome the whole time. We honestly couldn't thank him and his team enough for making it such a special day! Everyone was accommodated for, shower services, clean toilets, everything needed for a nights camping. Even putting the Wedding aside, we have camped several nights at the fishery and have always had such a pleasant time. Peace and pretty with a decent breakfast in the morning. Easy peddle up the road to the mountain bike trails and a shower to come back to in the evening. Would easily recommend to any bikers looking for a weekend away, or an alternative wedding venue!

Love this place great location. Great people fantastic home cooked food cud jus do with more comfortable seats x but love it and visit often as do all my family and friends have been also

Absolutely stunning brilliant fishing. Staff are helpful this place is highly recommended. It would get a full 5 star rating off Me I'd they didn't charge for absolutely everything! Camping £100 (2 adults 2 children 3nights) Fishing £7.50 per rod per day (£90 for my stay) And on top of that you pay again for any trout u wish to keep. Please just give me one price for my stay and have it include everything

Stayed here in one of the bell tents, which was really nice. The owners and staff were very helpful and there was live music on one night, which the whole family enjoyed. Only downsides were quite a lot of midges and limited (and a bit distant) toilet facilities.

Very welcoming and great set up. Pools are on the small side so could get busy but the cafe is superb! Recommended
