Very interesting woodland with lots of very impressive trees that you can get right up close with. A good play area and fascinating pond. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Why only four stars? The café charge a surcharge for paying by card - 50p, a total rip off! Thankfully, they won't be able to at the end of the year when the law changes.

This is a lovely place to bring the children if visiting the park. As well as a cafe, there are regular wildlife and craft activities taking place. A very relaxed atmosphere and good staff.
