Lovely park with a nice play area for little one's & a large skate board area for not so little one's. Lots of space for a game of footie or cricket, well kept tennis courts also. There is a welcoming cafe for tea, coffee, snacks & ice cream. The bowling greens are championship standard & very busy with players & spectators during the Summer months. For those into fitness two circles of the park is 1 mile ! A very nice place close to the town centre for a relaxing walk.

A beautiful park, always a wonder to walk around and take our son to. He loves going on the baby swing. I can't wait to take him on the bigger play items when he's older! It's a great place to have a stroll or a jog, with two circuits of the park equaling 1 mile, so nice and simple to measure.

Me and my family had a spontaneous day out with a long drive from where we live and it was the best decision we made!!! We all loved seeing all the amazing new scenery in the most beautiful park we have ever been to, it's defenilty one to visit! lovely and peaceful with shops near by to go and buy food for a little picnic, the park has such an amazing middle hidden gem which is all worth while...honestly breath taking and feels so tranquil all the sounds inside takes all your stress away.

Excellent park by the river. Well stocked kids play area and skate park for older kids. Good pub close by.

Good park with plenty to do for kids all ages... our favourite currently is a skate ground.
