Best park to chill if you live near Putney. Along the Thames with chillness from trees even in this hot summer.
such a nice park, especially I love the alley with the Londn Plane trees which where planted here 125 years ago!nnbeautiful!nnand a good playground, and a great mini golf place next to it, my kids love it!
Edwardian era park situated in-between the Thames and the Putney Bridge Road. There is a large grass area in the middle with a walking path going all the way around it with a cycle path skirting the river. There are tennis courts here, mini golf and public toilets. Two water fountains on the path these also cater for dogs. Some art sculptures can be found on the paths.nnA lovely park to walk in.
It's good park to visit specially with river bed on the side but not looked after they way council spend money, lots of potential and lots could be done for kids and adults but of course for that you need some one sincerely thinking big for park And surrounding,, community should also play role but too many people visit this place compare to care that's done for it
One of the most beautiful and serene parks I've come across in Putney and possibly London for it's size, right on the river side gives you a beautiful all year round view of the ever changing scene the river creates.nBeing on a bend, you can see a great deal. One thing being the four barges that are set opposite the park, which house many species of bird. The most common being heron and cormorants. And I'm not kidding, there are plenty to see at all times!nNot only is this park perfect for photography, it is a delightful place to run or just walk and take in the fresh air provided by the many tree's, and enjoy all the fluffy doggies that roam around.nBasically, I love this little piece of paradise.
