I visited this park in winter, not the best time of the year, but I enjoyed it. There are walking trails, a bandstand with history, some blue plaques, a rose garden barren in winter, a dog park, a flower garden, a café and sports areas.nnThe public toilet was maintained well, the park in general was in good shape. The cafe was nice and had seating areas outside too, however I didn't buy anything as I thought the menu looked too expensive. I read a book in the flower garden, where I saw a robin frolicking around the trees.nnThere was a wildlife trail, locked off for visits which is a shame as it seemed to have a pond while the rest of the park is all land.nnI must come back here in summer to see the park in full bloom, and hopefully to increase my compliments.
Absolutely horrible maintenance, full of dogs jumping on people on benches, the staff is walking around seeing all of this and doing nothing about it! Its getting worse every day and used to be a great park place to go out for fresh air and actually enjoy it!
It’s a great local park with plenty of facilities including a gym, tennis courts, a football field, a cricket ground, and a running track. There are lots of benches to sit on, a kids' playground, a small sandpit area for jumping, and even a café. It also has separate zones for dog training and for people who prefer to stay away from dogs.
Great place near Maida Vale station, for running and daily workouts. Love this place.
Gets a bit rowdy in the summer when it’s very busy, but generally this place is nice to have lunch or walk though as a shortcut, but realistically it’s too busy to relax and the actual dog park in it is hardly used. There is a large children’s play ground and a tiny loose garden as well as large sporting areas.
