This is sort of a bridge of green space connecting Hyde Park with Green Park in Central London. I have enjoyed walking the 'Apsley Way' a fair number of times over the years, taking in the war memorial monuments that dot Hyde Park Corner.nnThese include the centrepiece Wellington Arch, Duke of Wellington equestrian statue, Royal Artillery Memorial, Machine Gun Corp Memorial, Australia Memorial and New Zealand Memorial.nnJust as you enter the Green Park area, you will also find the Commonwealth Memorial Gates and the Bomber Command Memorial. It is a good location for half an hour of monument viewing.
The beauty of the place, containing both history and a modern environment, is a must-experience at least once in a lifetime.
Beautiful monument, celebrating and remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. The Royal Artillery hold a fantastic remembrance parade here every year. This years did not disappoint. Grounds are kept well and the park corner is very well looked after and always has a crowd. Highly recommend a trip to see the amazing monuments.
Small park in the middle of a large one-way roundabout with up to 5 lanes of traffic. The Wellington statue and the large arch are beautiful. They're well worth seeing and taking photos.
Lovely big park in central London with lots of greenery and relaxing areas. There are lot's of activities going on always so check out the website for up-to-date details.nnGreat place to walk the dogs
