It is located right next to Buckingham Palace. It’s a quiet and serene spot where many people enjoy jogging and walking. The paths are well-maintained, and there are small kiosks where you can buy drinks and snacks. It’s quite a large park. If you love nature and tranquility and who doesn’t?, you should definitely pay a visit.
Green Park is one of the Royal Parks of London, located in the heart of the city, bordered by Buckingham Palace to the west, St. James's Park to the south, and Piccadilly to the north. It is one of the smallest of the eight Royal Parks and is known for its peaceful atmosphere, providing a natural retreat amidst the bustling urban landscape.nnUnlike its more floral counterparts, Green Park is characterized by its wide, open spaces, mature trees, and grassy areas, making it a perfect spot for relaxation and leisurely strolls. The park is also home to a variety of bird species and is often less crowded than other nearby parks, offering a serene environment for visitors.nnOne of its most notable features is the large, central space that is typically left free of flowers or sculptures, which contrasts with the more decorative elements found in nearby parks. It also has several memorials, including the Canada Memorial, which commemorates the contribution of Canadian soldiers in both World Wars.nnGreen Park is easily accessible, with multiple entry points, and offers a tranquil place to enjoy nature and unwind in the middle of London’s lively city center.
A beautiful neat clean and lush green park just on a few steps from the green park tube station. This park directly takes you to the most famous Buckingham Palace where King of UK lives with his Queen. In order to witness the guards' changing ceremony, you must reach there by 10 am almost every day.
