Just bought an absolutely stunning, low mileage Audi Q5. Alex is a straight forward guy and a pleasure to deal with. Cars are all high quality, presented to the very highest standard. I have been searching on-line for weeks, so delighted when this one came up 2 miles from home! No pressure sales, I actually just went went in for a valuation on my BMW, them came home with the Audi. 100% recommend.
By far the best experience of purchasing a car we have ever had !! Alex was knowledgeable and a delight to deal with, whilst also giving us a fantastic part exchange on our vehicle. Would not hesitate to deal with him again in the future. Recently bought a Mercedes CLS from Alec. Lovely guy to deal with, got a great deal with no pressure from him at all. Had a very very minor issue with the car a week after i bought it but Alec sorted it without question, the aftercare is second to none. I've heard good things about the garage before and I have to say it was without doubt the easiest and most pleasant car purchase I've made. I would absolutely recommend Walter Marks Cars and will be sure to go back there when I'm ready for a change again.
I recently bought a Jaguar XF from Alec at Walter-Marks. His small showroom is immaculate as are the cars. He was pleasant, honest and straightforward to deal with. When I returned to collect the car a couple of days later there was an unexpected problem with the touch screen display. Alec immediately suggested I took it to my local Jaguar franchise at the beginning of the following week and said he would pay. There was no argument, equivocation, or proposal that I should have it fixed other than at a main dealer. It was obvious to both my wife and me that he was genuinely upset at letting a car go out with a problem. The cost, when I got it fixed a few days later, was over £300. Alec put the money straight into my account the same day and emailed again apologising for the problem. When I read the reviews here before first going to look at the car I thought they were perhaps suspiciously favourable. My experience however indicates that they are entirely accurate. There are a number of franchised car dealers that could learn a thing or two from Alec's customer service. Would I buy again from him? Absolutely.
Over the last 15 or more years I have bought several cars from Alec at Walter-Marks, all of which have been better than average condition for the age, and more importantly the money. When I changed my job earlier this the year I was in need of a car for higher mileage, but wanted something with some character and driver appeal. Arriving at Alec’s showroom my wife spotted a 2010 Audi Q5 that looked new inside and out and fell in love with it – fortunately Alec offered a very decent trade in on my wife’s car so a week later we picked up her new Audi Q5, but I was still looking! Alec persuaded me of the benefits of a diesel 3.0L Audi A5, which I took for a test drive and found to be perfect for my needs, great performance and over 40 to the gallon on the motorway. We have had the cars for several months, racking up thousands of miles and both are perfect for our needs. I can honestly recommend Alec for high quality cars at the best value. When we replace one of our vehicles it will be the first place we look.
Its been some time since I last purchased a vehicle, That said this purchase was made so easy with Alex being the perfect gentleman, No doubt in my mind that with his Professional Quality service and polite considerate manner that made this purchase the best ever, Keep smiling Alex with thanks and appreciation.
Recently bought a 2016 Audi Q3 sline plus, beautiful as new. Fantastic deal with a great part exchange price for our car. By far the best and easiest car buying experience we have ever had, Alex is a pleasure to deal with and we would not hesitate to recommend him to our friends.
I have recently bought a vehicle from here and everything was perfect. Alec was a dream to deal with, patient, polite and professional. It was arranged that I was picked up from the train station and even since buying the vehicle the service has been outstanding. The car is immaculate, exactly as described and at a very good price. Recently purchased a mini convertible from this garage dealt with Alec. Have to say this was a pleasurable purchase!! No pressure sales, he left me and my partner to look at the car with no pressure at all and was available when we had questions. We got a very good part exchange deal so I just couldn't refuse this offer!! Also every time I have rung this garage and he hasn't answered the phone, he soon rings me back. Have to say when Im ready for another part exchange will more than likely go back here and recommend everyone else to visit this garage. He has some prestigious fab motors, worth a look!!
Walter Marks is always my first port of call when changing my car, excellent service and no hard sell. As a woman I can feel intimidated going into a car showroom expecting the hard sell but here I am given time to browse but when required, Alec Walter is always on hand to answer any questions with regards car history and performance. All the cars I have bought have been reliable and as specified and I have recommended this showroom to all of my friends. .
