Its easy to write a review criticizing a company when things don't quite go your way, and buying from a distance is difficult. Unfortunately i was one of these being in Cornwall, and when i arrived the car i had arranged to purchase,and paid a deposit on in order for some window tinting and side steps to be fitted, was sat awaiting me with what i had asked completed. However, on closer inspection with an LED light in dim light, i did find the car not to be up to the level i had hoped and had to make a difficult decision to walk away from it. At this point you would fully expect some awkwardness to ensue from the dealership.. but (and this is the strong point i wish to make) to Gary and Neal at Beckside 4x4's full credit, there was none. I really can't speak highly enough of the the team.. Gary, Neal and Richard, who not only refunded my deposit in full with no quibble, but also gave me a lift to a hotel along with recommendations on the local eating houses etc. They even offered to pick me up the following morning if i wished to view their vehicles further with no commitment to do so. I did however make other arrangements that eve and found a car i wanted elsewhere. I drop a star on the rating only due to the car not being quite as i expected, but i would give 5 stars for their decency and customer services before and after my arrival. Don't be afraid to speak with the team here, be honest and decent with them and i assure you'll get same back as i did. Thank you Gary for the none quible refund. Thank you Neal for the lift and thank you Richard for your assistance over the phone prior.

Buyer Beware! Purchased a Freelander over the phone and had it delivered. Had an issue with the nearside mirror which had a loose mechanism and would not stay out once the car was moving. Beckside referred us to the warranty company (who would not cover on the basis that the issue was already present on purchase and referred us back to Beckside). Beckside were singularly unhelpful in misrepresenting or misunderstanding the issue throughout our correspondance. Buying a car without seeing it is always a risk - but my advice for any prospective buyer in the same position is to give these guys a miss and give your money to someone else.

A superb experience. You cannot please all of the people all of the time. But the current overall Google rating for Beckside 4x4 doesn't reflect the great experience we've just had buying a Range Rover Sport from them. I've bought loads of cars over the past 30 years and had some good and some not so good experiences. I have to say I found the guys at Beckside 4x4 a pleasure to deal with and after some tooing a frowing for a couple of days we collected our "new to us" Range Rover Sport in immaculate condition for a 12 year old car. I'd be happy to reccomend Beckside 4x4 and our deal is relected in a solid 5 star review.

Its the 1st time I’ve bought a 4x4 and I definitely came to the right place Richard was very helpful and very knowledgeable. All the staff we’re very friendly. The Land Rover discovery I bought off them was perfect and just what I wanted I can not recommend Beckside 4x4 enough to anyone . Definitely worth a visit
