Found this dealership more than helpful. Martyn an his team are friendly, honest and trustworthy and an absolute pleasure to deal with. The car V40 2L D3 Volvo was exactly as described and pictured, and presented beautifully to the highest standard. The 2 hour drive was worth it to deal with such professionals and collect such a high quality as described vehicle. Their showroom and forecourt are stocked with a wide range of high quality cars to suit all tastes and budgets. Martyn concluded our deal with the offer of a handshake. I was that happy he ended up with a Welsh Cwtch hug. Thanks CCM. You will be my first consideration for any future vehicles.
I bought a Land Rover Discovery TD5 from Martyn and have to say it was a pleasant experience throughout. I collected the vehicle in a stunning condition and was pleased.. I have had a couple of niggles with it some which I dealt with myself as it wasn't worth driving across to Bradford for such small problems, I had a problem with the gearbox which was sorted by Martyn very promptly. My friend bought his D2 from Martyn too a good few years ago and received the same level of service and it's still going strong. Just when you think all dealers are cowboys there are a few good ones here and there. I will go to CCM when I change vehicles again. Thanks everyone keep up the good work.
While Martin is a nice guy. I bought a BMW from this company some time back. The engine was a mess. It was clear that the car had problems as the engine light came on within 130 miles. I took this car back twice and they said it was booked in with BMW JCT for repair. What they actually did was send it for diagnostic testing at BMW and then sent it to a shoddy repair shop to be fixed. Made the problem worse...The car was in a dangerous state. It was not drivable. I took this car to an engineer whose wife works at my school. He told me the engine was misfiring and some of the dates with the error codes corresponded to the dates CCM had the car which suggests they knew about the problems but tried to mask them. Fortunately, I knew a trade dealer who took the car as part-ex for another BMW 335D which has been incredible. Probably good for cheap bargain cars but would not recommend buying anything near a luxury car from this place.
Read all reviews!!! CONMEN. My heavily pregnant partner and i bought a black 2010 Honda jazz from here. Turns out the car had signs of crash damage and was poorly bodged back together. The average joe, in the dimly lit showroom - the signs are nearly impossible to spot. Car seemed ok until the undertrays fell off! Then I realised the reversing sensors although making sound were not registering anything close to back of the car. Turns out the cowboy repair man had painted straight over them! Long story short I had the car looked at by a professional who highlighted many things from a high mileage seat to the front bumper reinforcing bar still crumpled behind the bumper. Of course all vehicles leaving here get a 100 point check....what LIES! HPI clear only means no crash has been reported and these guys relied heavily on that. Martyn, the oh so friendly one! The master con. As the car was bought on finance he point blank refused to take the car back. All he wanted to do was 'let us have a look at the car and we will look after you' completely bypassing the fact that we no longer wanted the car. It wasn't fit to leave the showroom!! They offer such a good deal in terms of looking after you but it's only so they can keep bodging and cover their tracks!!! Only after 2 weeks of pinball phone calls between ourselves the finance company and Martyn did we get somewhere and the finance company took the car for us. This so called family man - Martyn knowingly let us out of that garage with a car that in the wrong circumstances could have taken lives. Oh did I mention the car was also a recall for the airbag - potentially not deploying. READ ALL REVIEWS. Also who reviews themselves? Isit to hide the reviews that came before? Martyn will most likely come back with some big story like on all the other reviews. He's excellent at recounting conversations and making it look like he cares but it's all about the money and none of your storytelling will outrun the truth. I sincerely hope your lies and cons land you behind bars.
Payed them a deposit of 100 as asked to hold car till I went to see it .the car as i lived over 200miles away . was not what it appeared marks on body leaking sunroof and oil over transfer box . refused to return deposit as they had used it to put mot on car and put diesel in it . Really would advise people not to deal with this garage as they blatantly just want to take your money . Customer service don't exist
Bought a Seat Altea from Martin last year, couldn't have been better to deal with. The car was and still is in great shape. I've knocked a star off as the tyres were pretty much bare when I got it checked over by a mechanic so I could have winter tyres put on but since I was removing them anyway it wasn't a worry. Had I have needed to keep them it may have been something I would have complained about. But other than I found the service great, car lovely, all in all I'm happy
We went to look at a kia sorento xe 2008 at ccm was met by martin very pleasant man. We told him that we had seen the kia online and just wanted to compare it to our discovery as we were thinking of other options instead of discovery. Martin was not pushy at all and told us to take as long as we liked even though we werent thinking about buying at the time. We asked him questions about the kia and its history he was very nolagable and showed us all the paperwork that was true to his word and lets us test drvie it too. After the test drive i asked martin if he'd object to my mechanic to come and look around the kia for us as we really liked really liked the car, he said didnt have a problem with that in his words he had nothing to hide so we decided to buy the kia on the provisal our mechanic said its was ok. martin offered us a very fair trade in price against the kia and the whole process went through without a hitch thank you martin and your team for all the help and we would definatley come back to ccm in the future to do bussiness with them when we decide to swap motors again. once again thank you for making the whole experiance plesant and pain free its been a pleasure doing business with you. AVOID...Absolute con men i bought a car in good faith, at first martin the salesman was polite noce made me feel welcomed, after the sale the car turned out to be be faulty brake cables had seized brake disks were warpes and the cruise control didnt work. I rang martin to tell him whats this he said you have warranty with the car and lo and behold none of it was covered. AVOID THESE CONMEN
I really can't find fault my purchase went smoothly my trade in taken a decent cup of coffee and a very pleasant experience . A real family business with that something you don't see often nowadays real customer service. Martyn really is a nice chap .
