Lived here all my life and I can honestly say this is the worst thing about my town. I have frequently booked many appointments a long time in advance but when it comes to the day they never come through and tell me it has been cancelled. Never once have they contacted me in advance to say this - it's always a stupid note left on the door. I can honestly say that the Manor Hospital and all its staff need to be booted out of a job and maybe then they'll learn to take care of their patients. Absolutely pathetic. Oh, and also I had a blood test there and they "lost" 5 bottles of my blood... so I had to have another one; given the fact that I am quite anaemic (and they know this) it meant I couldn't walk for a week. Was I compensated? Nope. I had another appointment booked for today from 11 weeks ago only to be told that there's a meeting going on, on the day and not in advance. 

If anyone comes to Walsall, make sure you're in perfect health because I would give a minus rating if I could - looks like they employ the dumbest of the dumb to work here - lady couldn't even write down a phone number correctly when it was being read to her. If that doesn't scare you away I don't know what will.

Most A&E staff were friendly and genuinely caring. 
Other wards, not so much. I wouldn’t ever chose to go to this hospital again.

Fantastic Antenatal and Anaesthetic Care - We had excellent care from antenatal clinic through to delivery. We felt very safe and reassured throughout. Midwives stayed with us throughout labour and were so friendly and professional. Also a very efficient anaesthetic team. Cannot praise or thank our teams enough. Forever grateful.

Reception staff very helpful. Sat in grubby a&e for four hours to see a doctor. Doctor saw us for 90 seconds. Terrible place. Then I had to pay £4.80 to get off the car park. I was parked between 11:30pm and 3:30 am. Shame on the operators, disgusting charges.

Abysmal treatment on the birthing wards. Staff inexperienced/lacked knowledge, no one knew the answers to questions asked. 
One of the midwives said she was happy for birth to happen in the observation area, that tells you all you need to know.

Years ago, waited hours in A&E, doctor saw me for 20 seconds, told me to take it easy and rest. Next day I was admitted with a serious muscle infection in my chest. The consultant actually laughed that the previous Doctor had missed it.

Not a great place to receive care.
