It's very clean and big size supermarket. Although, you will find things over price at times you also would find excellent quality food. I would definitely recommend their bakery section it smells good and tasty even better. There's also a click and collect for John Lewis inside which seems to be easy and fast. They just done a brand new Café Shop but I didn't like the sitting area because there's only 4 places where you really want to sit and they were taken for long time so no point of it. Just remember to weight the veggies before going to the self-service check out if you need to.
Good store in South Sheffield, easy access and parking. Good food and drink particularly alcohol selection and friendly staff. Have used to pick up John Lewis items for collection with no issue and easy handoff process. Groceries can be pricy so head here less often than other shops, but never have had any issue when going here!
If it's going dark, there is no safe way to walk from street to door without your keys out, heart in mouth and hoping for the best. There is no or very poor lightning near the paths, they're not visible from car park or road and no sign of security cameras. It demonstrates a complete lack of care.
I cannot express enough how no one should order from deliveroo from this branch have this week had a £20 refund and last week a £16 refund and before that I had ordered £10 worth of chicken they never sent. They don’t look at what you have asked for they just throw the wrong thing or the wrong amounts of things in. When it’s gotten to the point of having to refund me HALF of my shop every week I think they should maybe have a word with the staff. Really annoying and will have to start shopping elsewhere. The quality of food is always good and staff in person have always been lovely but who on Earth do they have packing orders. They’ve seen literally half of what I asked for for the bazillionth time
Please don't buy fish from this store, they are selling Rotten Fish, it happened to me 3rd time. If you complain, Customer service will tell you, no one has complained. They shouldn't be doing this business. There isn't an option to choose 0 star!
This now is not the first time that my mum has been approached aggressively by begging the man in question walked right up to her in the car park up to my mum's face anti social behaviour not acceptable right at the front door of the shop. The shop knows all about it yet doesn't bother to sort it my mum left feeling very upset by the whole incident being a long term spending customer not a begging one Also the same man with a hood on approached a very old man aggressively begging for money. Isn't it about time Waitrose you get this problem sorted. How not to look after oaps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As you would expect from Waitrose the quality is excellent, but the Cafe oh my, when you eventually get served the food and drinks are great, but it isn't even organised chaos it's just chaos, there are no systems and it is so slow, we have an hour lunch and cannot go because we risk going over our lunch period.
Waitrose in a student heartland is a very strange place even without the security staff having a row between them selves in the middle of the store. But waitrose does have great stock and some products I've never seen elsewhere.
Lovely food, lovely staff, super friendly on the meat counter, useless manager. I order from Waitrose frequently. Today I had a small issue. The wrong rice was sent. I called up to ask it be changed and was struck by a wall or arguments about how contracts with deliveroo work. It was a simple case of getting one packet of rice swapped for another, however unfortunately the manager seemed incapable of processing such a simple task. I imagine his staff have such frustrations on a daily basis.
Lots of gaps in stock compared to what they used to have, and fewer product lines. Maybe I caught them on an off-day and Monday lunchtimes aren't a good time? The staff I could see all seemed to be stacking shelves, so there was no-one to ask about produce. I came out with less than a half-dozen items, none of them the things I'd gone in for. I hope it improves - shopping in here used to be a 'treat myself' feeling.
