Impossible to get an appointment. And you get sent all over the bloody place because one surgery has no doctors but is still open. They lost my very important blood tests. And messed me about with that. Receptionists are stupid and rude. I'm phoning because I'm sick. I don't wish to be judged by you or spoken to like rubbish thank you. The automatic system which puts you through every other option before you can speak to someone is a joke. Most of the time it hangs up automatically. It also gives you incorrect information. Just an awful "medical group"

Having read all the reviews I was not sure what to expect. I rang yesterday and there were no appointments - advised to ring at 8am today, which I did, and within 5 minutes had a same day appointment. Staff very professional and it was remarkably easy. I know the merger has been a challenge but I feel all the staff are genuinely trying to make it work even with an increased demand. As a patient of Stakes Lodge for many years, visiting Forest End has been a very pleasant surprise - larger practice and well furnished though car parking can be quite a challenge.

Round and round in circles we go. It appears that you are unable to get an appointment to get to see a GP for an early morning, unless you call after the time that you require the appointment, with this same day care malarchy???? This is absolutely ludicrous, i work Mon-Fri 8am -4.30pm, and require appointments as close to these times as possible, which up to now has never been a problem. Do the Vine Group understand not all people can stay on the phone for 25 minutes at a time waiting to get through, to only be told you have now missed that day's appointments, call back tomorrow? In the meantime, stress levels don't help the symptoms of what you want a GP to look at in the first place. This seriously requires an overhaul, what is wrong with calling a dedicated receptionist actually sat in the surgery you want an appointment at? Or better still, being able to call in and book at the desk? It feels like patients have become 'customers'. This is a public service surgery, not a business.

I think the patients that left 1 star reviews need to have a little more compassion. You won't find it any different at any other surgery. They are all overworked, understaffed and underpaid but still striving to do a good job. Yes, getting an appointment is frustrating and a bit of perseverance is needed, but I've always received a good service. I even received a follow up call to see how I was doing after a particularly nasty chest infection!! So, I for one applaud the work you do. Thank you Vine Medical Group.

Had to wait 40 mins past appointment time to see a HCA. Absolutely amazed that I was informed that the previous patient was ill!! What and the surgery could only get a HCA to deal with it. What confidence does it give you, that you are being properly looked after.
