Just arrived back home. Went for 2 nights. The room was clean but lacking a few basics. There is an iron and board, but little space for open suitcase towels are provided, but once used, nowhere to dry them. Only 2 coat hangers each. The bed is comfortable and warm. Good heating. The shower is excellent, but the mirror was clearly fitted for a tall man who doesn't understand that shorter people might want to use it.nPrior to arrival, the team reached out and asked if we would like to book a table for evening meals as it was valentines Day. I said yes. I was expecting a restaurant meal but sadly it was an unimpressive pub meal. Cheese burgers and onion rings. Of which wasn't the best cooked meal. Was hoping for at least a table cloth. The place was cold and unwelcoming. Maybe my expectations were too high. Both myself and my partner left most of our meal it wasn't terrible but wasn't great either. Breakfast on our first day was served on a cold plate, so everything was cold. Day two was better as the plate was warm. Although most of the serving pans were empty, i.e., no bacon, no mushrooms, no beans. They did replenish these eventually. It's not a great service. The place does seem to employ the youngest and seemingly cheapest staff, so we shouldn't expect much.nThe swimming pool was very nice along with hot rooms.nI would go again but wouldn't eat there. Despite what was lacking, we still had a nice time. Staff were all pleasant, although they could benefit from the dining room training.
My stay at village hotel Blackpool was nothing short of amazing! The staff were friendly and really looked after us during our time there.nnThe amenities were exceptional, with a beautiful swimming pool that was perfect for relaxing and a well-equipped gym that catered to all my workout needs. The on-site restaurant was a highlight, offering a diverse menu with dishes that were delicious.nnThe bedrooms were spacious, spotless and really comfy. Breakfast was another standout feature, with a wide variety of fresh and tasty options that catered to every preference.nnThe golf course was also a fab part of our stay!nnOverall, village hotel Blackpool exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s the perfect destination for anyone seeking luxury, comfort, and impeccable service. I can't wait to return!
Fantastic experience, great food, great grounds, fantastic room, close to activities and lots to do in the hotel. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars is when eating a meal we were given an unrealistic time to eat before they wanted the table, they also forgot about half our order and no one came to check and see how things were and when I went to the bar to see where our food was they were very dismissive and lacked time. I do however give them the benefit of doubt as it was a busy evening and the food was fantastic when received
Review of Village Hotel BlackpoolnnI recently stayed at the Village Hotel Blackpool, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep every night of my stay.nnThe staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. One of the highlights of my visit was the breakfast buffet, which offered a fantastic variety of delicious options to suit all tastes.nnThe hotel’s gym and swimming pool facilities are top-notch. The pool area includes a jacuzzi and steam room, perfect for relaxing after a workout or a day of exploring. The gym is well-equipped, catering to all fitness levels.nnAnother bonus is the ample parking available, making it easy and convenient for guests with vehicles.nnOverall, the Village Hotel Blackpool provides a welcoming and comfortable environment with excellent amenities. I highly recommend it for both leisure and business travelers!
It's ok if you don't get problems but as the reception isn't manned all the time, with self service check in points instead, if there is a problem your only option is a qr code and a chat bot for any issues and a qr code for room service, that wasn't functioning on the first night. Reported to the bot but never received a response. It is a bit out of the way and although a nice setting if alone and vegetarian your options for an evening meal are limited in the sports bar. Taxi into blackpool is around £7-10. Good gym facilities and lovely pool. Breakfast was OK. Rooms are OK, but you can hear your neighbours through the wall. On the first night the light switch for the light at the side of the bed did not work and was on when I arrived. This is how that part of the room is lit. Didn't notice the issue til I went to go to sleep. Reported it to the receptionist in the morning and they disconnected it by the time I returned, so the room was now a bit dark. No message from the team in the room nor via email or text.
