Really enjoyed the stadium and it's amenities. I thought the layout and atmosphere was great, with a good selection of food and drink options. Would highly recommend spending time in Richmond beforehand as the walk is not too long.
Love going to this stadium. I do find the lower levels of the stadium have better facilities, especially for women's toilets.nnI just love the atmosphere here on game days and the big 16 is always amazing.nSome of our sections were allowed to play tag team on the hallowed terf at half time.nnRudimental were amazing, especailly with the light and sound show.
Great experience watching the England women's rugby team beat the black ferns 24-12. I would say that the seats don't really fit anyone much over 6 foot as I was wedged in my seat from all angles with no room for activities other than that a swell day out
I visited this place for the first time early this month for a conference.nTwickenham Stadium, the home of English rugby, is an iconic venue that exudes history and excitement.nnWith a seating capacity of over 82,000, it's a formidable stage for international rugby matches, concerts, and events. The stadium's atmosphere is electric, with passionate fans creating an intimidating yet exhilarating environment.nnFacilities are modern and well-maintained, with excellent food and beverage options. The stadium's design ensures excellent views from all angles, with comfortable seating and ample legroom.nnHowever, a major area for improvement is traffic flow during events. Congestion around the stadium can be chaotic, leading to lengthy delays and frustration for attendees. To address this:nn1. Enhance public transportation:nIncrease the frequency and capacity of trains, buses, and coaches to encourage fans to use public transport.nn2. Optimize parking and drop-off points: Streamline parking allocation, and designate specific drop-off zones for taxis, ride-hailing services, and private vehicles.nn3. Implement efficient traffic management: Employ experienced traffic marshals, utilize intelligent traffic signals, and introduce a contra-flow system to minimize congestion.nn4. Promote walking and cycling: Encourage fans to walk or cycle to the stadium by providing secure bike parks and pedestrian-friendly routes.nn5. Utilize technology: Leverage real-time traffic updates, mobile apps, and digital signage to inform attendees of traffic conditions and suggest alternative routes.nnBy addressing traffic flow, Twickenham Stadium can further enhance the overall experience for attendees, solidifying its reputation as a world-class venue.
What can i say apart from amazing, if you ever get the opportunity to come to Twickenham to watch the Rugby, don't turn it down, even if your not a rugby fan.. go !!. This place is spectacular, the atmosphere for an England game is electrifying and super friendly. The food is good but like any venue its a captive audience so can be pricey, but hey its a special day out.
