Strawberry Hill House is a remarkable Gothic Revival masterpiece. The architecture is intricate, and the historical significance adds depth to the experience. The guided tours are well-crafted and informative. A must-visit for history and art enthusiasts.
This is one of the finest historic houses we have seen in years. The reason is that, as well as being a stunning building, historically fascinating , the guides are the most knowledgeable and passionate. Their explanations are clear and they answer questions with enthusiasm.nnWe need to return as we just didn’t have long enough.nnAnd I must mention the café. We had really the best café food in the 6 days we were staying in London. Lovely staff, delightful.nOverall a very memorable visit.
A nice historic house tucked away from the hustle an bustle of London. The guides in the house were very friendly and knowledgable. The house is restored nicely too. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the lack of furniture. They explained to us why there’s no furniture but it would have been nicer if it was furnished in order to show the house in its full glory.
A very nice place to visit if you like to explore more about London history and architecture. Very nice staff who will help you and will answer any questions about the building and it's history. Very interesting interiors and a huge beautiful garden near the house. Not crowded location in comparison with popular tourist spots, but totally worth visiting.
A beautiful house and garden with incredible volunteers who hold a wealth of knowledge about the history of the house. Well worth a visit if you enjoy architecture and history. I’d recommend coming earlier in the day and booking tickets in advance.
