Nice zoo in the heart of London. It's not too big to spend a whole day enjoying the area. Several cages are under renovation so some animals are hardly seen. Water fountains are available at different locations. They do a big penguin feeding likely before the zoo closes.
A great experience to get to know animals up close that you will never see in nature, a good tip is to have a map and the times of the attractions so you don’t miss any. Engaging signs, exhibits, and guides that share information about the animals’ natural habitats, behaviors, and conservation status can make a big impact, especially for children and those new to conservation. If pathways were well-maintained, accessible, and seating areas were available, these are valuable features, particularly for families, elderly visitors, and individuals with mobility challenges.
Enjoyed a day at The London Zoo, What a fantastic place to visit. Well organised, So much to see & do. Very friendly helpful staff.nSuch a Great selection of Animals & Reptiles from all over the world. Very clean & tidy zoo. The animals looked well looked after. Nice selection of cafes & restaurants and also large gift shop. Highly recommended
Fantastic place, variety of animals.nThe zoo is well organized nnIn the Zoo it struck me that there are a lot of newborn/baby animals.nnAt 11:30 and 14:00 there are demonstrations with animals that are within arm's reach of spectators-a very exciting experience.nnIt was a pleasure to walk through the pathways and examine and study the inhabitants in the Zoo.
What was amazing is how it's all spread out in the corner of Regents Park just a mile or so from Oxford Street! The wildlife and work around conservation are so impressive, considering the challenges we face today. The kids love it...
