Saw Take That here. The stadium was clean and the seating was actually quite comfortable. The pitch area isn't that big so none of the seats felt too far from the stage. The security staff were friendly yet firm, it felt like they were in control. The bars were well stocked and quick so the queues weren't too bad. Had a great time.
Everything was good nice stadium very helpful staff even the haft time show was great and verynCheap as well for food and drinks compared to some other stadium I’ve been to but the only thing that stop it getting a 5 star for me is Bristol city fans they didn’t make much of atmosphere but I did go midweek so might be a bit harsh but definitely a stadium to tick off
Fairly flat from the home fans for a Severnside Derby, but the ground is far far better than their rivals Bristol Rovers ground, the Memorial Stadium.
First time visiting Ashton Gate. I was very impressed with the ease of getting through the gates and round the stadium. Found the stadium to be very clean and tidy, too. Didn't have much time to have a proper look around, so I couldn't take in all the history. Enjoyed the match, too. Hope I can return one day.
I was in the away end. Home supporters would have a better experience than me.nFirstly, the away fans' coaches are slotted into spaces in front of an industrial unit about 1/2 mile from the entrance. Wouldn't like to walk back and forth if raining.nWe were ushered into an area just off the rear of the Atyeo away fans stand and then had to wait until 1.40pm until they allowed fans to filter through while being searched.nUnobstructed view of the pitch, which was the same everywhere and it looked a nice stadium.nDrinks, alcoholic and otherwise available at bottom corner of he stand and easy access to toilets under the stand. Edge of roof went quite far forward. Unable to sit near front as access prohibited by rubber sheets over the seats, so all available seats sheltered from the rain. Clear PA system and two large screens gave replays of the action: mostly Bristol City attacks because obviously Cardiff City fans wouldn't want to see a replay of their team.nStadium emptied quite quickly, did not have to wait like I do in Cardiff.nBehind the away stand they sold nice beefburgers.
