Economy, no frills hotel. Very clean and comfortable but be prepared for a very compact room. Ideal location and supper friendly and helpful staff. Road noise can be a bit intrusive at times but this would be very difficult to shut out completely. Lots of options for restaurants within very close walk. Rooms: Very compact but everything you need and Joy of Joy aircon that works ' Take note Travelodge waterloo' Walkability: Easy walk to waterloo station and under ground. 10 mins walk to Big ben and 10 mins to the south bank and all that it has to offer. Food & drinks: take a walk on to lower Marsh and The Cut, lots of restaurants to suit everyone's budget. Maria's café is a great place for authentic home cooked Thai at a very affordable price but be prepared to line up
Wonderful place to stay! The rooms are quite small, but they are clean and the beds are nice. Location couldn't be better, nothing like walking out and 3 minutes later you're looking at Big Ben. Staff was so kind and helpful. We needed an extra duvet, and it was no problem getting one. I've stayed here twice, and I would love to come back some day!
OK to be fair, they advertise as small rooms and they're not lying. They are tiny. It's perfect for a 2 night stay with small travel bags. I would not want to stay there with more than one large suitcase. Nor would I wanna be a couple of large height and weight people. You've been warned. All that said, it's in a great location no doubt about that. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were on a day trip to London and decided last minute to stay there so we had no luggage. If all you need is a comfortable clean bed and clean shower then this is your place.
A very basic hotel rooms are small as per all the reviews so I expected that. Although the bed area was ok it was the bathroom that was very small if you are a larger person you actually would not have been able to sit on the toilet in my room the gap between wall and sink very tight. The shower was very tiny small cube shaped with inward doors so looked impossible to climb inside. No restaurant on site so no food drink or breakfast options. No tea coffee making items in room. No wardrobes just hangers on the wall and a couple of wall hooks. Good points the bed was really comfy although the pillows were too flat. Slept ok apart from road noise at times woke me up. This is on a busy cross road junction. LED mood lighting gave the room a cosy feel and I liked you could change the colour via wall panel. Heating system worked well for heat & cool. Overall it’s ok just about for one night but wouldn’t enjoy staying longer.
Veeerrrry small rooms - only a submariner would be impressed! The road outside also seems to be where the emergency services like to test their sirens 24/7.... On the plus side, the staff are very friendly and helpful, there's a coffee shop and local shops on the doorstep, and it's a short walk to the river. No breakfast, but they do sell coffee and essentials at reception. Rooms: Ever been on a sleeper train, or the cheapest cabin on a cross-channel ferry? Think smaller!
Amazingly, Point A survived the pandemic. They saved me from a terrible air bnb while I was in London this month, I was so grateful for them. The coffees on the morning were a wonderful addition. I felt safe and was treated so well by staff. The area was wonderful Westminster and the room was cool! Small, but that's OK, it was just me. The cleaning staff were a bit noisy in the morning and you could hear street traffic, but it wasn't that bad. I will 100% be staying there in the future.
Our stay was just for one night but it was perfect for our needs. The rooms are very small but clean. The full size bed was good for two people. The location is very good, there’s plenty of food, bars, and shops in the area. There’s bus stops and the underground station close by. The guy who helped us at reception, Varun, was very kind. We were able to check in early without extra cost, and he gave us suggestions on things to do and see. All around such a cute hotel and a fun spot.
The location is really perfect. So many restaurants and pubs with walking distance. Across the street from the underground and right next to a bus stop. The rooms are very small but they have air conditioning. The size is perfect for solo travelers or couples. Nearby activities: Everything I listed before. So many things to do close by. Walking distance to the London eye. Safety: Must have room key to access elevator and stairwell. Must be buzzed in upon arrival. I felt safe staying here. Walkability: Access to the tube, just stops, shops, cafe's restaurants, and pubs. Food & drinks: Close to so many restaurants and pubs. Coffee shop onsite.
Staff couldn't seem less interested. Got a double room - my partner had to climb over me to get to the bathroom at night because of how small the room was. The bathroom needs some work. Cheap, but not at all cheery.Rooms: 2/5
Very cool hotel, bedrooms and sheets are really clean, the private bathroom is a big plus, you just have to cross the street to take the underground and staff is very nice and accommodating, big thanks to them !Rooms: 5/5
