This is an exceptional modern hotel. Every detail is well considered. Our room is small but so efficiently laid out that it works great. The bar and food are next level, including breakfast and coffee. Very impressed.Rooms: 5/5
nicest lobby sitting space in toronto. i was in credit card debt and still went every morning to buy two lattes and write in a journal and work on an album that got about 1,000 streams which didn’t come close to paying for even a tenth of a latte but you win some you drink many. no regrets. the album cover literally has the coffee cup from the ace hotel bar on it because i sat there every single day working on it; it’s truly just vibe city in there fr the album and the hotel.
Great hotel with an excellent restaurant. The lobby bar has so much potential, but the music is absolutely terrible—annoying and completely out of place. Out of all the hotels I’ve visited around the world, this bar ranks among the worst. They really need to modernize the vibe to match the style of contemporary bars.
Great hotel - Alder is a fantastic restaurant. If you're lucky enough to get Tiffany as your server you're in good hands. She probably offered the best service we've ever seen in a Toronto Restaurant, patient, attentive and friendly. The hotel itself is really cool and offers a cool and unique vibe. It was quite expensive when we went but overall would probably go again.
This hotel was recommended to me by a client, and their assertion that I'd be well taken care of and well-rested here was spot on. It is a quiet location at night, but during the day, you're never far from something interesting. Graffiti Alley is nearby, as are many lovely restaurants and coffee shops. Outside my window, a playground, dog park, and outdoor space gave an atmosphere of home. I would definitely stay here again!
We loved our stay at ace Toronto. Our room was surprise upgraded from a large room to a suite!!! It was the largest hotel room I’ve ever been in! It was beautiful and such a lovely gesture and surprise. The staff are all wonderful. The architecture is phenomenal and the location across from a large park, food hall and just around the corner from Queen and Spadina can’t be beat.
Take someone you love to this place for a drink and something to eat. The Ace is a very necessary hotel of its' kind in the heart of the city. I'd say the design is mid-century modern, but that would be reductive. The Ace has its' own signature and something to say. How can sleek be sumptuous, or vastness be cosy. Design can dictate mood and inspire ideas. These are a couple reasons I come to the Ace Hotel.
We had a terrific stay at the Ace Hotel Toronto. The staff was attentive, responsive, and very kind. The hotel itself is so elegant with a gorgeous, warm pallette and chic furnishings that were so welcoming after our travels. The location was perfect for us - walkable to concert venues, museums, shopping, and restaurants. Absolutely loved it!
The hotel is an architectural delight! We were happy to learn we had been upgraded to a larger room with the perfect view. However it was located on the 13th floor just below the rooftop bar and unfortunately we couldn’t sleep for two nights because of the music upstairs playing until 2 am. Thankfully, the reception was helpful and gave up earplugs. We had a good time but our experience was not perfect because of the music upstairs, the lack of free water bottles in the room, and the fact that the coffee area is full of people working on their laptops. However, the hotel is beautiful, staff is very nice and helpful and the location of the hotel is perfect as well. We had an amazing dinner at Alder as well as a nice Sunday brunch with a live band playing.
Great!!! Loved all of it. Our toilette seat was falling off and was fixed in 10 minutes. The reception even called to confirm it was fixed. Only issue is we brought our baby and requested a crib. It turned out to just be a pack and play. Would have been nice if the crib was as nice as the rest of the hotel…Rooms: 4/5
