This is a great location and hotel to stay at if you are looking at East London. There is a tube station right around the corner, though you most likely will have to change lines to get to central London. Design and vibe of the hotel is hip and artistic. Solid East London feel. Great food in the lobby restaurant. The lobby has a club feeling on the weekend nights and seems to be a co working space during the day. Close to great restaurants and coffee shops like Dishoom and Ozone Coffee. Rooms are small as you should expect in London but VERY nice. I was in for a work conference both times I’ve been in London and stayed here due to the proximity of the event location. I would look at one of their hotels closer to London if you are here on holiday. They definitely have my brand loyalty and I would stay at any of their locations. Super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms: Small but well designed. High end finished and comfortable beds. Outlets are far from where you would need them is my only feedback. Not close to nightstands and hidden behind a wall near the desk. Walkability: Great stuff close by. However not super close to the touristy stuff if you are coming in for that. Plan at least 30-45 minutes to get to your first stop if sightseeing. East London is great and has a lot to do if you want to lean into what community life is like. Food & drinks: Amazing food and coffee close by. Super walkable to high end amazing food.
Rooms are small but very well appointed. Mattresses are a bit soft and pillows need replacing. Location is excellent and the staff are fantastic. Book here if you plan on being out and about all day, it’s not a luxury hotel, very utilitarian - but the price is excellent for what you get.
It’s a five minute walk from Old street station so was ideal for our needs. Close to Spitalfields and Shoreditch so plenty to do nearby. Lyndsay, Che and Iona were extremely nice. Room was comfortable. And they were still serving food at ten PM, which was great for us! Enjoyed our stay!
The room I stayed in was immaculately clean and a pleasant vibe, making it a comfortable retreat after a long day. The hotel's location was convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The breakfast was a delightful highlight Ioana was excellent, booked dinner for us on the first night at a local restaurant which was excellent and all the other staff we interacted with were very pleasant and courteous.
Good place to stay at if you like to work out of hotels or to party. They have everything organised neatly on the ground floor where you can work during the day in an open co-working environment during the day and have drinks and party in the night. There's a decent DJ floor jamming up in the evening. Nearby activities: Close to Kings cross and st Pancras, Madame Tussad and the London Library is also close by. It's a happening place.
Happy to be back. Gorgeous hotel minutes away from Old street station. Stylish decor throughout the lobby and room. Cozy room with great bed and lovely bathroom. Friendly staff encountered throughout the hotel, specifically Che and Ioana.Rooms: 5/5

A solid 4 star hotel in a great location! The rooms are a good enough size for London, comfortable beds and the windows open to get air into your room along with having AC if needed. I would absolutely stay here again, the price is solid for what you’re getting and as mentioned before the location is perfect. A couple things to note that I suppose could be considered downsides of the hotel: - on the weekends the lobby basically turns into a bar with a dj playing. If you just want a place to sleep and chill it can be annoying walking past drunk people. - the restaurant in the lobby “eggbreak” is terrible. The service is so slow and they aren’t very kind there. Asking for a glass of water seems to be an unusual and big thing to ask for. I really don’t get it.
Let down by its staff and simple mistakes. Staff in reception is more focused on each other than the guests, acting quite nonchalant and on the verge of being rude. Also, no one ever asks how your stay is/was. Rooms are definitely OK, but could be better with small upgrades. For example, glass doors with big gaps to the restroom is perfect if you hate any privacy while on the toilet. Why? I get it is a design thing but come on. Location is great though and nice bar and breakfast area.
We had cocktails at the roof bar. I recommend the oysters. The music was a bit annoying. 'Chill out vibes' or whatever. The staff were very friendly. Although one of the waiters was dressed like Lenin. I think it's a style bit to me it looks very 'charity shop'. Nice view from the roof bar.
