The hotel is okay. Ayshe on reception is great. Very welcoming and friendly. An ideal base for me to go and take my first ever flying lesson ‍Rooms: 5/5
Rooms are small and basic but clean and fine for one night. You can hear a lot when people walk past. bathroom is tiny. Staff are lovely, very helpful.Rooms: 3/5
Excellent stay! The staff, Ayshe, was extremely friendly and helpful. She was accomodating and was always seen with a smile. Her service was lovely throughout my stay! The room was functional as I had expected. It is travelodge and should not be held ti the same standards as a 5-star hotel. Nonetheless, the room was very clean and spacious enough. It was more comfortable than expected. I stayed during winter so the temperature was fine. I can't speak for other seasons. Location is excellent in Egham!
Excellent travelodge, great recently refurbished rooms, good location. Staff we excellent, friendly and sorted out my late check-in request. Rooms: Recently refreshed and modern. Comfortable bed, good lighting and temperature. Safety: Felt safety. Safe and secure underground parking for cars. Walkability: Within walking distance of egham station.
Cramped shower/toilet room, relativelysmall room but bed comfortable. Parking is charged in Waitrose car park underneath but it is safe and secure with a lift direct to the hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient.Rooms: 3/5
Room was spacious and clean. There’s no fridge so plan accordingly. There’s a Waitrose downstairs and there’s a Tesco through the tunnel onto the high street. Plenty of power sockets. They have usb built in but the one by the bed wasn’t working. Overall goods stay. Rooms: Spacious room. Clean. Not the quietest room I’ve stayed in as the road noise comes through but internally it is pretty quiet. Walkability: Everything you need is close by. The train station is not far either. Food & drinks: There’s the Waitrose downstairs. The high street has all the usual shops and restaurants.
Parking is extra but well worth a visit. In Surrey but 10 easy minutes from Heathrow. Friendly town. Less than 30 mins Ealing and surrounding area. Good access for south M25 and Kent, etc .... Rooms: Spacious, clean, quiet. No view but not expected. Nearby breakfast and all standards tof dinner facilities.
Disaster of a hotel. There is a fundamental design fault with the hotel, being that it is basically a greenhouse from the front, so the reception area is hot, even when it is cold outside. The windows are on a safety latch, and the way they are designed means no air gets into the room. No air con and fan that did nothing - such an uncomfortable nights "sleep" therefore. Mouldy areas in the bathroom, mouldy shower curtain and an extractor fan that didn't work. I do not recommend. Discussed with the staff in the hotel, they were apologetic, but little they could do to help.
Friendly staff, clean room, tv, but basic. A bedside table and shower mat would gave been nice.Rooms: 5/5
This was a horrible experience. Upon arrival the smell of sweat hits you as you walk in. Key cards are hard to use takes multiple attempts. Saw a crackhead in the hotel. Duvet was dirty yellow stains?! so had to sleep with a thin sheet. Even the rooms smell sweaty. Shower was blocked with hair residue and God knows what - got told to shower in the disabled room as a solution. Only offered basic tea and coffee. TV had basically no channels. Close to Aldi though so that was good I guess. Overall one of the worst hotels i’ve stayed at, 0/10 would not recommend if you value yourself. You would have to pay me to stay here again.
