Visited here recently for drinks with friends before going to dinner at a local restaurant. I have been to the Swan on many occasions in the past 30 years and apart from the interior and the outside patio area I don’t think much else has changed. Because of its location it is very well known and a very popular pub to visit, not only when the weather allows people to sit outside by the Thames but also at all times of the year. 
Reasonable choice of beer, lager and wine on offer plus food as well. Service at the bar was okay if not a bit disorgnised the evening I visited.
I have eaten here on a previous visit a couple of years ago and I felt the quality of food was average pub grub at best.

Just a half mile or so from ML&S (Martin Lynch and sons) the Swan offers good beer and great food.
I was very impressed with the quality and the service.
Very pleasent surroundings a nd a nice beer garden overlooking the Thames.
Loved it!

This review is purely of the bar which I have visited many times over the years. This is an ancient building with some character right on the river where you can moor your boat. The bar is broken up into three secluded areas which creates intimacy, good range of wines and beers. There is a TV which will be handy for the world cup games this summer. Enough bar staff provide a speedy courteous service when very busy, one of the better bars in Staines-Upon-Thames.

Had a lunch with my team from work - fantastic pub, too couldn't believe it is in Staines to be honest. The food was good, the beers (being a Fuller's pub) are great and the view on the Riverside superb.

Absolutely amazing Sunday roast. The chicken was so delicious. The meal was huge I couldn't finish it unfortunately as much as I wanted to. The staff were so lovely and friendly. I will defiantly be coming back again for dinner.
